Internet Capital Group (ICG) Acquires Majority Stake in Purchasing Solutions, Inc.

Business-to-Business E-Commerce Holding Company Combines Capital, Operating Expertise and Network to Help Build Leader in Web-based Procurement

PHILADELPHIA - Friday, November 12, 1999 - Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE), a leading business-to-business 
e-commerce company, today announced that it has made an acquisition in Purchasing Solutions, Inc. (PSI), an 
e-commerce purchasing service (known today as ICG Commerce)that helps companies reduce total procurement costs.
In addition, Internet Capital will provide the operational, technical and strategic support necessary to help 
Philadelphia-based PSI become the leading provider of web-based procurement solutions. Internet Capital's funding
totals $12,000,000.
