ICG Commerce Grows Customer Base to 100, Promotes CEO and COO
Rick Berry Elected Chairman; Fred Festa Named President and CEO
PHILADELPHIA - Thursday, April 26, 2001 - Procurement services provider ICG Commerce today announced the
promotion of Fred Festa to President and CEO. Founder Rick Berry was elected to Chairman of the board of directors,
and will assume additional strategic responsibilities. As part of the management succession plan, Festa will also join
the company's board of directors. ICG Commerce views these promotions as a reflection of the company's growth as it
transitions from a successful entrepreneurial firm to a growing operational enterprise focused on service and
operational excellence.
Founded in 1991, ICG Commerce currently services more than 100 clients including Sara Lee - Europe, ALLTEL,
Express Scripts, Crown Cork & Seal and Imperial Sugar, by delivering a full suite of procurement services that

Festa brings over 20 years of business leadership experience in the manufacturing and IT services industry to ICG
Commerce. In his capacity as ICG Commerce's Chief Operating Officer for the past year, Festa was responsible for
growing the company's day-to-day operations including the exchange business, strategic services, outsourcing
management, technology operations and integration, and strategic sourcing services. Prior to joining ICG Commerce,
Festa enjoyed a successful career at Allied Signal where he served as President of E-business; and Vice President and
General Manager for the Performance Fibers business unit, with worldwide revenues in excess of $600 million. In
previous years, Festa also served as Vice President of Finance for General Electric's Communications System group.
