ICG Commerce Awarded $1.35 Million by the Commonwealth to Continue Job Growth

Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Schweiker to present aid today at Montgomery County Community College

PHILADELPHIA - Thursday, October 19, 2000 - Citing the company's commitment to grow its talented employee base in 
Pennsylvania, Lt. Governor Mark Schweiker will award ICG Commerce $1.35 million in financial assistance at a press 
conference today at 3 o'clock at the Montgomery County Community College. The award will be presented to Bill Schwartz, 
ICG Commerce's vice president of human resources. 


ICG Commerce launched its operation in Jenkintown, PA, in November 1999. Over the past eleven months, the online 
procurement services company has hired 389 employees for its corporate headquarters, ten regional offices across the 
country, and four international business centers in Toronto, London, Frankfurt, and Hong Kong. 

But it is the company's focus on keeping top-quality talent in Pennsylvania that earned the Commonwealth's selection.
